FF4 parts 17-19 going up now, and random Killing Floor talk

Within 10 minutes or so part 17 should be up, and parts 18 and 19 will likely be up in an hour or so. Because all of the stuff I have yet to edit out has such a large file size it's starting to rapidly fill up my PC faster than I had expected it to. This problem has been compounded by the fact that I've added a couple more Steam games plus FF14 onto my PC in the last month and I now only have about 150GB of space left compared to the 400GB I used to have after I recorded the first 6 episodes of FF4 and those 5 fail-tastic videos of LoZ: ALTTP . Basically that's about enough room for 2 more hours of minecraft, maybe 3, or 3 hours of Terraria, or about 5 hours of FF4.

In any case I'd rather not run out of space so in the interest of clearing some of it up I'll be putting out a lot more Minecraft and Terraria stuff to make room, and  get that special recording I did almost 2 weeks ago out as soon as I find the time (meaning whenever the people I subbed to stop uploading videos to youtube for a few hours and once I've caught up on some stuff I need to do, like watch the OP episodes for this week and last week, check for Blood C episode 3, and start watching Tiger and Bunny, which could be a fairly interesting anime based off what I saw in episode 1. Speaking of OP I think I'll watch that now while I wait for these vids to get uploaded. With any luck the special recording should be up within the next 2-3 days and I'll try to get at least 1 episode of Minecraft and/or Terraria up per day just to make room for future recordings. Eventually I'll have to completely delete my first videos from my PC to make more room but I'll deal with that when I get to it. As for right now I can cut over 90% of the space the videos take up simply by saving them in Windows Movie maker and converting the files from .avi to .wmv, turning a nearly 4GB video into a much smaller 90-150MB video (in the case of FF4, the files end up larger for stuff like Minecraft and Terraria, which end up being around 500MB and 200MB respectively when converted).

Also smaller file size as I said before mean shorter upload times, which is why Minecraft takes about 2 hours to upload for a 15 minute video compared to less than 1 hour for a 9-10 minute long Terraria video ( Terraria videos by the way are shorter since I don't feel like editing the videos together and then separating them into 15 minute parts because it would take a couple extra hours to edit and it's a pain in the ass with Movie Maker). I'm not aware of a way that you can get Fraps to cut videos off at a certain amount of time but it seems to just start a new file when recording whenever it hits a file size around 4GB. I'm sure there's probably a way to change that but I don't want to screw around too much with my recording software and end up screwing something up for when I go to record next (which likely won't be till sometime next week).

Well I have anime to watch and I'm also kind of tired. I will say though  that I have been playing Killing floor a lot in the last 48 hours and have achieved level 6 firebug finally. I'm going to work on getting level 6 commando now, but if it gets too boring hunting for stalkers I guess I'll change it up with either demolitions or berserker. The only problem I have with demolitions is that it's incredibly expensive so I'd have to go as a firebug for a few rounds to get the cash for it (or potentially as a commando once I get it leveled up enough to actually be able to do something). Currently I only have level 3 commando, which really doesn't get me much asides from slightly cheaper assault rifles. Commandos really do have issues with dealing damage quickly, which is why I preferred firebug over them since once you hit level 4 firebug you can easily do as much damage as a level 5 or 6 commando to the easy shit, with the exception of Husks and Bloats, and to some degree Gorefasts, which all seem to be more resistant to fire than the other monsters. Sirens only take like 5 or 6 quick bursts to kill, and as far as Scrakes go you could potentially solo them on hard if you build up a good distance and let the burn damage do the work instead of the flamethrower until you've set them alight 2 times or so, then you should be able to kill them with a full clip of MAC10 ammo if you get mostly head shots in, making sure you're at distance first to let the extra burn damage start to work a bit.

My largest problem going from firebug to commando is no longer being able to solo scrakes, since at level 3 a full clip of AK47/Bullpup ammo only takes away half its health, and as those who have played on hard difficulty know, scrakes charge at half health or less and with their health bars only visible when closer than comfortable it's a real gamble to try and take one on yourself. And then there's fleshpounds, which you're absolutely useless against as a commando on hard difficulty so don't even bother trying. It's best to pick off the small shit around them so that teammates with strong weapon classes (like sharpshooter or support specialist) can focus fire on it without having to worry about gorefasts or sirens. Also being a firebug for so long made me forget how much husks can hurt on hard, since husks use fire based projectiles and firebugs at level 5 have 100% fire resistance. I'd suggest practicing halo jumps to try and dodge them. Also something I kind of discovered is that if you are being chased by a fleshpound and there's nothing behind you and you're backing away if you time your jump right the fleshpound will hit and launch you away, giving you a head start in your retreat. It's kind of like getting hit by the patriarch with the ridiculous knockback he can give, so ridiculous that in the abusement park map he can actually knock you into the space between two shops, effectively trapping you in an area you shouldn't be able to get into, but the good news is the patriarch cannot get to you with melee attacks from there, though I think he can still get to you with his ranged weapons so it could be your death sentence as well.
