On a side note Blood C episode 6 has given me some hope for the series, and then with the last line of the episode it may have taken it away. I will warn that there probably will be spoilers past this point. Basically the twins both get killed off, in particularly gruesome fashion. In particular, the street fight between Saya and the shadow thing was the most gruesome thing we've seen yet, where multiple civilians are killed in the process in true graphic fashion (granted literally everything was censored so you didn't really get to see any of the details). However, the last line of the episode is spoken by the spirit dog, and it tells Saya to wake up, implying that it could very well have all been a dream, thus wasting all of our time for a pointless dream sequence. If it was indeed just a really gory dream sequence, then there is pretty much no hope for this show now that the story and animation team have basically grown some balls and then immediately castrated themselves because they were afraid of the direction they made the story go to. I don't normally mind dream sequences when they're done well and have a significance to the plot, but if this is a dream sequence, then it has absolutely no purpose in the plot asides from showing us where this series could have gone from there and thus redeemed itself. it would not be a good dream sequence at all basically, which is why I hope they don't go in that direction.
