Last session of Skyrim finally rendered

Yep, the final 8 videos have been rendered. I'm not done with the series so you don't have to worry about that. I did upload the first part today, as well as part 90 of Killing Floor. I have 7 videos left of both series and then I've run out of material. So yea by next Saturday I'll have to record something otherwise there won't be videos for a while. In my current condition I'm nearing the end of week 5 since my surgery so I'm still on soft foods and probably will be for a while, but I think I can manage 30 minutes or so at least of recording.

Chances are I'm gonna start FF6 sometime this week for lack of anything better to do that doesn't take too long. I might also try my hand at some Minecraft Hardcore, but I've got a fair amount of prep for that before I even get started on recording (like leveling up some more and getting more eyes of ender). My plan for that series once I start recording is to go right into it with as many tools and preparations as possible and hope for success. If I fail, chances are I'm gonna call the series quits and wait until the release of Minecraft 1.3 and begin a different minecraft series. I've played around with the idea of a building series for a while but to do that I'd need to kind of establish myself into a world beforehand. Also there's a lot of prep work that goes into building stuff so I'd really mostly be setting up stuff for the first 2-3 sessions. I think my ultimate plan is to build a fully functioning city within Minecraft 1.3, with roads leading towards any nearby villages. However, I've also got another great idea which is to build a massive either partially or fully underground city and to build some kind of safe passages from it to other areas of the map.

This is gonna take a long time in either case, but I've already got a seed in mind for the second idea. If you're curious about it, type in Gilgamesh for the seed and generate the map. You will end up in a snowy island connected to a desert, but if you explore the island you will discover the largest cave system I've ever seen in Minecraft. It's so large it connects to at least 10 different ravines and as far as I've explored in creative it also connects to 2 separate abandoned mine shafts. If you were to make a map at spawn and completely fill it in, the map also has a fairly interesting shape, with the main island looking like a bird or dragon and a smaller island above it shaped like a scorpion. That alone is a great reason to play the map, let alone the massive cave system. So yea I'm definitely looking forward to playing in that seed when 1.3 releases, assuming they don't change the biome generation code.

Until then I'm looking forward to the outcome of my journey in Minecraft Hardcore. I know I said I would play it until I beat the ender-dragon, but to be honest it takes too much time and effort to even reach him for me to continuously do it over and over again when I die for me to keep interested in the ultimate goal of the series. It was a fun idea at first but overall it's just too repetitive after the 4th time for me to really enjoy the series as much as I should be. In all honesty I only started it because I wanted to find a way to make up for not really finding a stronghold in my minecraft solo series because of my map generating in 1.6 and when the biome code changed, there was a bug causing the stronghold to not spawn in when the eyes of ender lead me. Now that I've actually found a stronghold and am on the verge of fighting the dragon though, I honestly don't see the point of taking the series any further if I lose because I've basically made up for the disappointing end to Minecraft Solo, and there'd be nothing new to see in the series until I did kill the dragon, which could take a long time. The series honestly wasn't meant to last beyond 80 or so parts, and I was hoping for around 40-50 parts. I'm currently around that point now and I'm just not really enjoying the series as much as I did on my third run. So yea you can expect Minecraft Hardcore to finish itself off hopefully before the end of the month. I will be putting the world up for download as usual so you can be sure I'll do that before I go into the final session. That way those of you who want to do more in that world (like finish my treehouse), can do as you wish. This time I'll be sure to change the difficulty to something other than Hardcore so you'll have and easier time of just having fun with the world. That download link should be in the description of the final video of the series, whenever I put up the final video for the series.
